SMS Voter is perfect for instant feedback via SMS for a range of activities including seminars, where to hang out with mates, Prize Draws etc... It collates votes sent from any SMS capable phone.

SMS Voter 2.0 is designed to manage adhoc SMS/Text based polls collating SMS Text votes sent from any phone capable of sending Text messages.

SMS Voter 2.0 itself must run on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 (or greater) Smartphones or Pocket PC Phones.
SMS Voter 2.0 supports

1. Collating votes sent from any phone capable of sending a SMS Text Message.
2. 10 Polls with their own score criteria.
3. Polls can be independently opened or closed.
4. Anonymous and identifiable votes.
5. Three vote types: First Vote Wins, Last Vote Wins, Allow Multiple Votes.
6. Prize Draws - randomly selects a submitted vote.
7. Exporting poll data to Excel

This application will only run on a Windows Mobile Version 5 (or later) Smartphone and requires a memory card to be installed in the phone.

For refresher's sake, the Nokia N95 rocks a monstrous 5 megapixel camera (with DVD quality video), as well as an integrated media player (with slide out controls), a huge 2.6-inch QVGA display, built-in GPS, WiFi, incredible 3D graphics courtesy of ATI, and 150MB of internal memory. They're saying it's just as good as a computer. The Nokia N95 won't come cheap when it ships in February 2007, but you've got to pay to play. Oh boy, how much fun it would be to play though...

Sony Ericsson new phone has a carbon-fibre like finish. The W51S also has LED status icons on the outer shell just like our beloved Motorola FLIP W220/W375. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera, 120mb of internal memory (nice!), Memory Stick (Micro, we presume) support, a 2.7-inch color display and here's the part that makes you unhappy: a release in Japan only, on KDDI.

The K810, as you can probably guess, is the follow-up to the hugely successful K790/K800 which started shipping last summer. Just as before, the K810 Cyber-shot phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera, backed up by auto focus, Xenon flash, and Photo Fix software. It's also got UMTS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900). Look for it in Noble Blue and Golden Ivory. The K550 Cyber-shot phone is a little lower on the scale with just a 2.0 megapixel shooter, but it's also got auto focus, an LED photo light, and an active lens over. Rounding out the goodies list are Bluetooth, 1.9-inch color display, Memory Stick Micro (M2) expansion, and PictBridge support. The quad-band EDGE K550 will ship in Jet Black and Pearl White. Both phones are expected to start shipping in Q2.
